Wellness and Vaccination Examinations:  Because they age faster than us, we recommend twice yearly wellness exams to help keep your pets healthy--preventive health care and early detection of illness is the best medicine.  We only use the latest advances in proven vaccination technology.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.  
      
Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.  Before your pet goes home after a surgical procedure, we spend time with you to make sure you know what to do to help care for your pet post-operatively.  The doctors and nurses are there to answer any and all questions to ensure the comfort of your pet.  Pain management and prevention are our top priority.
   
Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.  In addition, all patients undergoing anesthesia are placed on intravenous fluids to help support the vital functions of the body, including blood pressure and circulation, thereby providing an extra level of safety for your pet.
    
Internal medicine consults: We offer referrals to an internal medicine specialist who performs ultrasounds, endoscopic procedures and helps us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.
   
Radiology Services:  Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.
   
Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
   
Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.
   
Laboratory:  We utilize commercial veterinary laboratories who provide serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing as well as specialized diagnostics and consultations.  We also run onsite screening for a number of common diseases and parasites.
    
Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification.
    
Pharmacy:  In addition to our online pharmacy, we maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, flea and tick control products, and heartworm preventives to meet the needs of your pet. We are exclusive carriers of Royal Canin prescription diets and also offer other high quality brand name prescription diets through our online store.

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.

Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

Hospital Tours for small groups with presentations on careers in the field of veterinary medicine.  Volunteer and educational programs available by special request.

Humane education on or off-site with emphasis on responsible pet guardianship, dog bite prevention, and compassion and empathy.
